Bridge to Success Scholarship

Supporting Local Students & Their Future

Luper Team Mortgage is proud to offer the Bridge to Success Scholarship, a $1,000 merit-based scholarship opportunity for local high school students preparing for their next chapter after graduation.

This program was created to encourage creativity, financial literacy, and thoughtful conversations about home, money, and the future.

Scholarship Timeline
Applications Open: June 1, 2026
Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026
Winner Announced: July 2026

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

- Be a current high school junior or senior
- Live in Lynchburg City, Bedford County, Campbell County, or Amherst County
- Be planning to pursue college, trade school, vocational training, or another educational path after graduation

How to Apply
Submit a 1–2 minute vertical video answering **ONE** of the following prompts:

Choose One Prompt:
- What can you do today to prepare for buying a home?
- What makes your house feel like a home?
- What is an important lesson you’ve learned about money, and how will it shape your future?

Video Requirements
- 60–120 seconds long
- Vertical format (9:16)
- Clear audio and video
- Recorded in portrait/phone format

Videos will be judged on creativity, authenticity, clarity, and relevance to the topic — not production quality.

How to Submit

Final videos may be submitted by:
Emailing the video or a shareable video link to:

Accepted submission methods include:
- Direct video attachment (if file size allows)
- Google Drive link
- Dropbox link
- iCloud link
- Unlisted YouTube link

Please include the student’s:
- Full name
- High school
- What your plans for continued education is: College, trade school, etc. 
- Phone number
- Email Address
- Chosen video prompt

All submissions must be received by June 30, 2026.

Scholarship Award
One student will receive a $1,000 scholarship award.
The award may be:
- Contributed to a 529 education savings plan
  OR
- Paid directly to an educational or training institution

Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated based on:
- Creativity
- Clarity of communication
- Relevance to the prompt
- Authenticity and personal insight

Important Information
Participation is completely free.
No mortgage application, referral, or business relationship is required to enter or win.
This scholarship is independently funded by Luper Team Mortgage and is not affiliated with any school or government agency.
